So I have another question :p I know…I’m full of questions and seeking advice today, lol. First off, my lemon tree is looking GORGEOUS right now and it’s about to be in full bloom. I LOVE the way it looks and smells at this stage. I’ve noticed this bug that’s been sitting on it though. There’s been a couple of them actually. At first I thought it was one of those long legged mosquitoes (we call them daddy long legs down here), but I don’t think it is. It lets me get extremely close to it, it has a thicker body than those mosquitoes do, and it seems to have a stinger at the end of it’s body. And as you can see in the last picture, they seem to be leaving their dessicated corpses clinging to the plants :/ I’m wondering if this is a good bug that will eat other pests or if it’s a bad bug that is sitting on the plant laying it’s eggs and I should be getting rid of it…any suggestions?

harmless Cranefly, adults dont eat so wont eat yr plants. not a stinger- its what females use to lay eggs.

So great to see your garden again! :) Sorry I don’t have any answers to your questions. Although I think the bug is a crane fly(?). Not sure what it eats.
